발렌시아(스페인어: Valencia, 카탈루냐어: València)는 스페인 발렌시아 주의 주도이다. 인구는 약 81만 명(2008)으로 제지(製紙)·담배·식료품 공업의 중심지이며 마요르카 섬과 함께 보양·관광지로 되어 있다. 기원전 138년에 로마의 식민 도시로 건설된 마을에서 기원을 갖는다. 인구는 약 80만 명으로 마드리드와 바르셀로나에 이어 스페인에서 3번째로 큰 도시이다. 발렌시아 도시권의 인구는 조사 기관에 따라 다르지만, 약 170만 명 - 약 230만 명이다. 투리아 강 하구에 위치하며, 발렌시아의 기후는 온난하고 강수량이 적은 지중해성 기후이다. 발렌시아에는 유네스코 세계 유산에 등록되어 있는 라론하 국립 도자기 박물관, 발렌시아 대성당 등이 있다. 중세 스페인의 전설적 인물 엘 시드가 활약한 곳이다.
