이 마을은 오스만 통치 초기에 파괴되었으며 , 끊임없는 전쟁과 약탈로 인해 18 세기까지 황폐화되었습니다.
1784 년에는 작은 저택을 지었고
주민들에게 소포와 제비를 나누어 준 안탈 그라스 코 코 비치 (Antal Grassalkovich) 왕자의
식민지화 노력으로 새로운 시대가 시작되었습니다 .
1848 년에 세인트 레오폴트 교회는 우아한 신고전주의 양식 으로 지어졌습니다. (현재는 국립 기념물입니다.)
1888 년 István Pálóczi Horváth 가 재산을 물려 받았다 .
새로운 주인은 마을의 발전을 위해 많은 일을했습니다.
그는 유명한 농업 학교를 설립하고 토지가없는 농민들에게 제비를 배포하며 새로운 과수원과 포도밭을 심었습니다.
팔로치 호르 바스 (Pálóczi Horváth) 저택은 1893 년에 지어졌습니다 (현재는 문화 및 커뮤니티 센터입니다).
20 세기 Örkény는 급속한 경제 발전, 농업의 기계화 및 느린 도시화에 의해 변형되었습니다.
이것은 1980 년대에 새로운 초등학교와 보건 센터 건설에 의해 표시되었습니다.
Örkény는 2005 년에 마을이되었습니다.
