Mahindarama 불교 사원 ( 스리랑카 어 : මහින්ද්රා බෞද්ධ는 පන්සල )는 
말레이시아 페낭 .조지 타운 Jalan Kampar 에 위치한다. 부처님의 유물이 보관되어 있으며 가장 오래된 말레이시아의 스리랑카 사원이다. . [1] [3]
사원은 촛불 점화일 및 Wesak 연례 축제로 도시 교외에서 시선을 모은다.
사원은 1918 년 A. Pemaratana Maha Thera (싱가포르에 가는 도중 Penang Island를 방문한 Ceylonese 스님)에 의해 창립되었다 .[...]

1927 년에 Pemaratana가 갑자기 사라지자, 1930 년대 Jalan Kampar의 현재 위치에있는 사원을 위한 추가 구조물의 이전과 건설을 계속한 유일한 학생, W. Sumanasara Thero에게 사원의 책임이 주어졌습니다


1957 년 완공 된 학교와 1959 년 완공 된 학교를 비롯하여 1969 년 벨 타워,
1991 년 다목적 건물이 이어지는 여러 가지 추가 건물이 사원을 위해 지어졌습니다. [2]
2001 년에 말레이시아의 최초의 사원으로 선정되어
사원의 스님 Indaratana Maha Thera가 받은 부처의 유물을 수용했습니다.

Buddha 의 두 개의 뼈 조각은 현재 사원의 주요 기도당 내에 전시되어 있다. [4]
Pemaratana 재는 사원 화합물에 건립된 stupa 에 안치되었다 . [2]

보리수 원래의 자손인 보리수를 영국 지배하의 실론에서 20 세기에 가져와

Sima 라 불리우는 주요기도 홀은 스리랑카 장인에 의해  
원래 스리랑카에서 가져온 모든 재료로 장식되어 있다.
